Manchester

We have just had 1 night in Manchester. We travelled by train up to Manchester to watch Manchester United play a game at Old Trafford. It is a very big stadium and it was nearly full. There were 75,142 people there. I have never been in a crowd with so many people before.


There was lots of singing and chanting and it was a great atmosphere. Manchester United beat Wigan 4-0, scoring all their goals in the second half just in front of us!! It was very exciting


We are on the train back to London as I am writing this.
On Wednesday we are going on a fast train up to Edinburgh in Scotland for 2 nights. I am looking forward to that as I have never been to Scotland before.
